Truist Foundation Contributes $500,000 to Hurricane Idalia Relief

Funds will support relief, recovery efforts in Florida Gulf Coast, Southeast Seaboard communities

CHARLOTTE, NC, Aug. 29, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — As Hurricane Idalia intensifies and heads toward land, the Truist Foundation announced that it will fund relief and recovery for affected communities on the Florida Gulf Coast and Southeastern Seaboard will donate $500,000 to support the efforts. from the storm Funding will be distributed between the American Red Cross, the Center for Disaster Philanthropy and the United Way.

This grant is in addition to the $1 million The Truist Foundation gave earlier this year to the American Red Cross Annual Disaster Donation Program.
